Tem experiência nas áreas de Microbiologia, Biologia celular e Imunologia,
com ênfase em imunologia celular, virologia e interação microrganismo-
hospedeiro atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: imunopatologia da
infecção pelos vírus da dengue, Chikungunha, Mayaro, Febre amarela e Zika;
artrites virais e auto-imunes, com ênfase no desenvolvimento de modelos
experimentais (incluindo modelo humanizado) para estudo da patogênese e
teste de terapias.
